Final release of Ubuntu 14:04 LTS expected to be present on 17 April 2014. Thus, Canonical released Ubuntu 13:10 after a couple of days ago that also has announced the code name of Ubuntu 14:04 LTS, and today re-announced release schedule "Trusty Tahr" the nickname for the next Ubuntu LTS.

Almost no lag, after the final release of Ubuntu 13:10, immediately begin the process of developing a canonical Ubuntu 14:04 LTS. In public, the development of Ubuntu 14:04 LTS will be available in the beta phase from February to March 2014. But as usual, those who wish to follow a faster development process that can download Ubuntu LTS daily build of the range will be available in mid-December.
